Jim Myers – President and CEO
Jim Myers is a veteran of the mechanical parking industry. As President and Cheif Operating Officer of Harding Steel, he has been credited with mainstreaming mechanical parking in the US. Jim is a veteran of the high-technology industry with more than 25 years of experience managing, building, and creating innovative software and technology related businesses. In 2000 Jim entered the mechanical and automated parking world as an investor and industry advocate, later becoming the founder and CEO of Parking Innovations Inc, a regional distribution and service company for Harding Steel. Jim’s experience in the mechanical parking industry has laid the foundation for Park and Slide as a viable business venture in the US and around the world. Jim holds a BA and MBA from the University of Rochester (NY).
Ryan Myers – Vice President and Cheif Operations Officer
Ryan has been at the forefront of mechanical parking since 2007 as a National Project Manager for Harding Steel Inc., he is responsible for all technical support, implementation, installation supervision, and distributor coordination. Ryan oversees quality control, marketing, and factory relationships across the entire Harding Steel and Parking Innovations product lines. As Vice President of Park and Slide, Ryan is tasked with growing the domestic and international list of distributors and dealers, improving product, and creating brand recognition. His day to day activites include sales support, technical support, and product logistics. He interfaces with the international production team on a daily basis. Ryan is a 2004 graduate of Radford University in Virginia.
When Ken Riley finished school he joined the asphalt industry in England working for his father, who was a major subcontractor in the North East of England. He started working out on the sites as an apprentice learning his trade, while attending day classes in college to gain his qualifications. Ken went from apprentice to supervisor, to contracts manager, to area manager, to director, to managing director in 40years. Ken retired as the main board director when he was 62 and was a consultant for the company until he was 65 completing 50 years unbroken service.
Ken gained four institute Fellowships during his career, FIAT,FIOR,FIHT,and FIQ.Ken is also a Freeman of the City of London, and a Liveryman in The Worshipful Company of Paviors.
David is the son of a farmer, he joined the family farm when he left school and this is where David learned his engineering skills, keeping the farm machinery operating. David joined a Quarrying company as an engineer looking after Quarry plants and Equipment. He then joined my Ken Riley’s company as an engineer where he stayed until he retired in 2009, serving over 35 years. David is a brilliant engineer, and spends his whole life in overalls making things work, He can be described as a guy you could send into a scrap yard and he would make you a Bentley.
