This is the original design that proved the Park &Slide concept and brought it to reality. It was developed for installation in so-called 'double' garages that in reality do not allow two cars to be driven in and parked side by side, or to allow extra room for maneuverability inside the garage. This car parking system can be utlized to park 3 cars in a space that traditionally can only accomodate 2.
P & S 1000 is comprised of ball bearing runners and two steel sliding plates, which are bolted to the floor based on the vehicle wheel base. The Slide pulls protection covers across the track to provide safety from a tripping hazard and to protect the exposed track from damage. The vehicle is driven into the garage and parked on the steel plates so it can easily be pushed to one side of the garage to create space for the second vehicle to be driven in and parked.
When configuring the system, a two P&S 1000 slides must be ordered together.
